Lisa Kove, a service related disabled military veteran and long-time activist for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community, is the Executive Director of the Department of Defense Federal Globe (DOD FED GLOBE).

She’s also advocated for protections against hate crimes on behalf of not only the LGBT community, but the African American and Hispanic communities.

As a parent of five, Kove was the first person in the nation to win child support in a lesbian relationship at the appellate level.

Kove's work for Empowering Spirits reflects her opine as a board member, and it is not intended to reflect the opinion thereof her employer the Department of Defense.
